what sets us apart
When you join our crew, you’re stepping into a structured, team-based care model serving the Sauk Prairie, WI area.
Relationships matter to us. Our team members are W-2 employees, not random gig workers. That means you’ll have real support from an established team and the chance to build genuine connections with the same clients over time. Every visit follows clear standards, and we keep detailed notes on each pup’s routine, preferences and personality so care stays consistent, no matter who’s on shift.
And most importantly, we’re here to make life better for every canine client and their human(s) (while having a doggone good time doing it)!

work that feels good
perks of joining our team

built on real training
You’re set up with proper training from day one: dog body language, safe handling, Fear Free practices, emergency protocols, pet first aid/CPR and our care standards.

a supportive environment
We trust you to do your thing, with a team that’s always got your back. We’ll give you the tools and guidance you need to succeed and keep growing as a pet care pro.

loads of cuddles!
OK, let’s be honest… A huge perk of the job is spending your days with some of the sweetest pups around, with plenty of cuddle breaks and nose-boops.

is this job for you?
you'll like this job if...
-
You show up when you say you will, every time. Our clients and pups count on you.
-
You're comfortable working independently, managing your own time efficiently and following through without someone checking in on you.
-
You genuinely enjoy getting to know and valuing each dog's own personality, quirks and all, not just liking dogs in general.
-
You pay close attention to detail, follow written instructions, and take pride in doing things the right way the first time.
-
You enjoy that no two days are the same, and you're able to problem-solve in the moment using your resources.
-
You're confident in your own problem-solving abilities, but humble enough to know when it's time to ask for help.
-
You thrive in a culture where feedback flows both ways. We're always learning what's working and what we can do better, and we expect the same from you.
-
You don't mind driving between visits. Our routes are close together, so each drive is usually just a few minutes, but it's a real part of the job.
-
You're comfortable being outside in all kinds of Wisconsin weather, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
-
You support your teammates and celebrate their wins, because when the team succeeds, you succeed too.
you won’t like this job if…
-
You thrive on regular in-person interaction with people throughout your day. Though your team is always a group chat away, this role is mostly spent with the pups, not people.
-
You want your own client list and schedule to manage, rather than working shifts as part of a team.
-
You prefer a fixed weekly schedule and knowing exactly what to expect each shift.
-
You’re looking for a full-time position to be your primary source of income. This role is part-time.
-
You’d prefer a job that doesn’t involve cleaning up after animals or general messes.
-
You’re looking for low-impact work that’s not focused on physical activity.
-
You struggle to notice small details and communicate them clearly, both in content and tone.
-
You struggle to empathize with people whose worries or choices you don’t personally understand.
-
You prefer figuring things out as you go, rather than taking a systematic approach.
